Information Technology
Information Technology course was introduced in 2002. There is a distinct entrepreneurial spirit in the students of the department. The department believes in precept of Honesty is the best Policy. Moreover, the department focuses on sincerity, commitment & dedication. This department has a mission to nurture young IT talent by effective guidance & support. The Information Technology has various applications in the field of Software Testing, Software Development, e-governance, e-commerce, and other such like industries. Department has well equipped digital library run by ABIT. Moreover, it has a rich departmental library. The curriculum covers vast arena of subjects like MIS & Industrial Economics & Management to equip the students with an extra facet to the education they pursue. The students have taken the challenge to make India an I.T. hub. The students activities act as harbinger of would be I.T. professionals.

Institute Level :
Association of Budding Information Technology (ABIT)
The department of Information Technology has formed a college level society called Association of Budding Information Technology (ABIT) which encourages students to explore new avenues in the field of Information Technology. The society organizes various seminars, workshops and programmes for the students.

DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES/ INITIATIVES

1. INDUSTRIAL VISITS:
The department takes its students to various leading industries all over India to give them hands on experience and practical knowledge.
