Academic activities during the semester includes:- Theory / Practical / Tutorial sessions as per academic timetable displayed before the commencement of semester.
During the semester, students need to undergo continuous evaluation by concerned subject teachers. This includes the timely completion of assignments, preparing laboratory journals, term tests etc.
At the end of each semester, there is university examination and to appear in the same, the students must have à minimum 75% of attendance in every subject and à complete term work requirement satisfactory at the end of the term.
The department gives equal importance to curricular and co-curricular activities for fostering the overall development of the students. The department conducts various seminars for preparing them for various aptitude tests and interviews.
Electronics and Communication Engineering uses the scientific knowledge of the behaviour and effects of electronics to develop components, devices, systems and equipment.
Information Technology is an interdisciplinary field primarily concerned with the analysis, collection, classification, manipulation, storage, retrieval and dissemination of information.
Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering refers to the discipline which deals with design of devices to measure physical quantities such as temperature, pressure, flow etc. Electrical Engineering basically deals with the study and application of electricity, electromagnetism, and electronics.
Mechanical engineering covers a wide variety of activities from engines, turbines, pumps and compressors, to heat exchangers and pressure vessels, to boilers and steam systems, to hydraulics and fluid flow, to dynamics and statics, to plant .
